Always let your boss have the first say.

THE BOSS
----------
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and their manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out. The Genie says, I'll give each of you just one wish.

Me first! Me first! says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the a world." Poof! he's gone.

Me next! Me next! says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach." Poof! He's gone.

OK, you're up, the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, I want those two back in the office after lunch.

Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.

Sweet Taste Of Iman Is Better Than Anything In The World

Allah Knows............

Astaghfirullahal A'zeem....Allazi Lailahailla Hual Hayyul Qayyum Wa Atubu Ilaih.........
Allah Maha Melihat......Maha Mengetahui akan setiap pergerakan hamba hambanya...Tak mungkin aku dapt terlepas dr pandangannya walau sesaat cuma.
Allah knows the second and minute which i spent commiting sins....
Aku malu berbuat burruk didepan ayah, aku malu berbuat perkara tak elok didepan ibuku....aku malu kalau ada murid nampak aku lakukan sesuatu yang bercanggah dengan agama.
99% adab ku jaga. Takut akan pandangan manusia......
But what about Allah? Why dont I have the same feeling of shamefulness to Allah, My Creator...My Sustainer..My Guider...My Allah...???
Am I not guided? Am I a hypocrite? Is my Iman still so weak inspite of all effort I made to boost it??
What is wrong with me..............................................???
Oh Allah make me concious of YOU .... Put fear for u in my heart before i could even commit the sin oh Allah.
Save me@ us from sins oh Allah.
Wallahu A'lam

TURN OFF THE TELEVISION

Every year, more and more Muslim households are throwing out their television sets. While the reasons vary from family to family, a common concern among these families is that it is un-Islamic. In the last two decades, the type of programming on television has changed dramatically.

Even by Western standard, what was unacceptable twenty years ago has become a common place on prime time television today. Whether it is the evening news or other programs, the stories and images of shirk, immoral behavior and violence, to name a few, are some of the non-Islamic influences taught to be acceptable on television and absorbed by our youth. What is ironic is that they all suffer from the safety of their home. Furthermore, the statistics regarding television viewing are phenomenal. According to the A.C. Neilsen Co. (1998) the television set is on, for an average of 7 hours 12 minutes a day in the average American home. This is a lot of time for the absorption of un-Islamic influences on very impressionable young minds. Family who could not altogether throw the television set out, are limiting the amount of viewing time for their children.

The summer months present a unique problem for parents in regards to television viewing time. Children have a lot more time on their hands and often choose this passive form of entertainment in order to pass time. Basically, parents have two options. The first option is to totally throw away the television set. This the safest for their deen and their mind. And while this may create complaints from the children, it will force both parents and children to find other more creative activities in order to use their time. The second choice is to limit the amount of time and screen the type of programs watched by your children. Parents will need to be involved in finding alternative activities for their family. The following is a list of creative activities for families which conform to the guidelines of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Explore the great outdoors

One of the main advantages of summer is the beautiful weather. The potential for outdoor activities is endless. Therefore, why should children be stuck inside during one of the most beautiful times of the year watching shows that hinder their Islamic development? Rather, send them outside - let them engage in creative play with other Muslim children. After all, learning appropriate socialization skills and Islamic manners is a very important part of developing your child's Islamic character.

Encourage Reading and Acquiring Islamic Knowledge

Another alternative activity is to encourage reading and studying Arabic. Acquiring knowledge about the Deen is a major part of developing your child's Islamic character. Summer is a perfect time to join a reading club at your library or to practice newly acquired Arabic language skills from the previous school year. Also, why not create a Qur'an memorization competition in your home? Each child can agree to memorize a set number of Surah over the summer. Each memorized Surah then could be rewarded with a special treat agreed upon by the parents and the child.

Enroll in Classes

The additional time freed by turning off the television lends itself for the perfect opportunity for your child to explore new interests and skills. Enroll your child in special interests classes such as swimming, archery, cooking, sewing, etc. Better yet, organize one within your local community so that other Muslim families benefit from the activity. Another advantage of creating your own youth classes within your community is that this avoids the non-Islamic practices such as mixing of the sexes and other negative influences.

Get to Know Your Family Better

Also create time for families to engage in activities together as a family. What better way to develop meaningful relationships with your children than participating in fun family-oriented activities together! Furthermore, close family ties and good communication between children and parents is a major factor for children developing the skills necessary to resist the un-Islamic influences in Western society.

In actuality getting rid of the television is an advantage for the Muslim family not a hindrance. Insha'Allah, families will discover with the increased time away from the television that the extra time can be utilized for socializing with other Muslims, increasing their knowledge of the Deen, activities that benefit the community.

Penyegar Hati

Here are some real words of wisdom I collected from a website.....
What is WISDOM? Hikmah is just the translation of it in Malay language. Who knows the real meaning of wisdom? Wisdom is different from knowledge. One is to KNOW. And another one is to understand the hidden pearls behind a certain knowledge...Not all learned people has wisdom. Wisdom is like a special gift from Allah. A wise person is someone to be envied indeed!
Nabi SAW was blessed with ILM and HIKMAH. This shows difference between the 2.

1- Happiness keeps u sweet, trials make u strong ,sorrows keep u human, failure keeps u humble, sucess keeps u glowing, but remember ALLAH keeps u going...

2- When you are lonely and your friends are too busy even for a phone call, ALLAH IS BY YOUR SIDE!

3- When you think you have tried everything and don't know where to turn, .............ALLAH HAS A SOLUTION!!!!

4- When nothing makes sense and you are confused and frustrated, .......................ALLAH HAS THE ANSWER!!

5- If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope, ..................ALLAH HAS WHISPERED TO YOU

6- When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for, ........................ALLAH HAS BLESSED YOU!

7- When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe, ....................ALLAH HAS SMILED UPON YOU!!

8- When you have a purpose to fulfil and a dream to follow, ....ALLAH HAS OPENED YOUR EYES AND CALLED YOU BY NAME!

9-Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing, .....ALLAH KNOWS, ALLAH KNOWS, ALLAH KNOWS..........

Caution : There is Another Anti- Islamic Site

Mukaddimah Bicara......:
Pernah dapat email yang diforwardkan atau baca article tentang Anti -Islamic Websites ?
Ana ada dapat...and not long after that...a friend of mine sent an email telling us to stop forwarding it. Ana pelik...kenapa jangan forward? She gave us an URL to one islamic website and told us to find out the truth for ourselves.
Jadi ana pun baca and baru ana faham. Ni, ana telah copy and paste article nya di sini...Let us think again....b4 forwarding those alert emails......InsyaAllah!

Why issuing an ALERT LETTER is precisely the wrong thing to do??

"The most anti-Islamic site will die if it faces a frozen counter. That would happen if you just leave it alone. But if you are out there telling everyone about it and asking them to do the same, you are in effect volunteering as their publicity department."By Khalid Baig, 7 December 2001
The alert letters keep coming. Beware here is the latest anti-Islamic site. Then a URL so you can verify that it is indeed as described. Then a passionate request to tell all the Muslims in the world about it.

Sincere. Misguided. Counter-productive.

Little do the senders realize that they are actually helping the very sites they are trying to fight.
The failure is in realizing that the Internet is a very different medium and the rules that applied to the previous media do not always apply here. If there is a bad magazine or book out there, you can tell others about it. We can be sure that nobody will rush to the closest bookseller to buy it. The warning may be useful, if there was a chance that some people could have bought the book out of ignorance.
In the click-click world of the Internet, the first thing most people will do is to click on the URL, thereby increasing the hit counts and boasting the morale of the site owners. Second, it will help it with search engine placement, as some of them will use the increased curiosity traffic as a sign of popularity. You just helped create the monster you wanted to fight!
It is common sense. If you don't want people to visit a site, just don't tell them about it.
It is very easy to setup a page on the Internet. It is very difficult to draw traffic to it. The most anti-Islamic site will die if it faces a frozen counter. That would happen if you just leave it alone. But if you are out there telling everyone about it and asking them to do the same, you are in effect volunteering as their publicity department. That is exactly what they need.
If there is a well-established site (like CNN) it makes sense to launch a protest campaign. But for most of the sites the prudent course is just the opposite. Leave it alone. Let it die of neglect. A natural death. The greater the lack of attention, the faster will be the death of this would be monster.
So the next time you receive an alert letter about an anti-Islamic site, just delete it. If you respond to the sender, do not include the original text of his alert email, because even that may help some search engine ranking.
There were dozens of anti-Islamic sites that sprang up recently but died soon after because, luckily, our enthusiasts had not noticed them and had not publicized them through their alert letters. The ones that receive the alert letter mention will, unfortunately, survive and may thrive.
On the Internet, the best use of your energies is to promote the good Islamic sites. Let the good drive out the evil.
Now, may we request that you send this article to all your friends?

The Story

THE TAILOR'S NEEDLE

A tailor was at work. He took a piece of cloth and with a pair of shining, costly, scissors, he cut the cloth into various bits.

Then he put the pair of scissors at his feet. He took a small needle and thread and started to sew the bits of cloth, into a fine shirt. When the spell of sewing was over, he stuck the needle onto his turban. The tailor's son who was watching it asked him: "Father, the scissors are costly and look so beautiful. But you throw them down at your feet. This needle is worth almost nothing; you can get a dozen for a Shilling. Yet, you place it carefully on your head itself. Is there any reason for this illogical Behaviour?"
"Yes, my son. The scissors have their function, no doubt; but they only cut the cloth into bits. The needle, on the contrary, unites the bits and enhances the value of the cloth. Therefore, the needle to me is more precious and valuable.
The value of a thing depends on its utility, son, not on its cost-price or appearance."

Similarly, there are two classes of people in the world-those who create dissensions and disharmony, who separate man from man; and those who bring about peace and harmony, who unite people.
*******The former are generally the haughty people, powerful politicians and kings; the latter are generally the poor devotees of Allah, the penniless wandering monks, and mendicants.

The Lord makes use of both to carry on his function of providing the field for the evolution of individual souls.
He throws down on the dust the mighty kings and millionaires who create wars and disharmony; and He keeps the poor, pious devotee over His own head. In His eyes the scale of values is entirely different!
